I worked with a non-profit as their Capacity Development Coordinator for roughly 6 years. In this role, I planned and executed the design and production of various marketing materials to increase awareness and presence for the organization and develop social media content for Facebook, Youtube and Instagram platforms. I was able to create branding and marketing materials such as business cards, a website, photo and video assets for promotional material and I created various printed material for event and organizational initiatives.

I have produced a wide range of products that show my versatility and ability within the graphic design and digital media field. From concept to completion I executed projects. I planned, coordinated teams, volunteers and participants for photoshoots and video shoots and directed production to ensure we captured our photos and video shot lists.

My graphic and web design skills were put to the test with a variety of projects including designing promotional pamphlets, sponsorship packages, newsletters, an annual magazine publication and a website with a blog.

I was also able to utilize my graphic design and animation skills creating motion graphics and 3D rendered graphics in social media videos that promoted the organizations annual award ceremony. A local awards gala presented us with a ‘Best Website Design’ award the year I started working with the organization and launched the organizations website in 2011.

I created a branding guide for promotional material to be used by our vendors, sponsors and stakeholders.
