Spicy Affairs Logo, Restaurant Menu and Vinyl Signage

Gallery

This local restaurant hired me to design their logo and print material including a menu, business cards and a small flyer for their grand opening. I was really happy with the outcome of the logo as it embodied what they asked for and it was really a head turning and eye catching logo. With the help of my trusty vinyl plotter, I took on the task to create and install the signage on the building light box. The lightbox was really huge and they only needed the sign to be 20ft wide so we designed it as such even though the light box was 30ft wide.

The menu design took on a clean and simple concept with minimal additional elements to keep the card to one side. The client wanted to have everything simple and make the menus easy to replicate and replace since it was previously a large and common cost for them in the past.

We used the Serif type for the titles and the simple, clean font ‘Avenir’ for the items and details to make sure the menu was clean and readable even at a small size. A light texture was used in the background to give the menu a stylized paper look.
