I was the lead communications officer for this portfolio – our organization’s appreciation week, called NPSW. Working directly with the Director’s office during NPSW (National Public Service Week) I was given the task to create products for leadership to provide to the award winners within our organization for their outstanding achievements. We created digital assets for our virtual events which included zoom backgrounds, email headers, email templates for communications and physical “thank you” cards that were mailed out to employees with their awards. I created a wide array of design concepts and all of the different designs were loved and kept for future purposes and repurposed for other directors and staff within our department. I became known as the ‘Thank You Card Guy’… Everyone loved them!

I also designed and acquired a printer for the gift that was handed out to employees… A Service Canada Stress Ball… I’m glad they didn’t call me the ‘Stress Ball Guy’. This project was broadcasted and coordinated for 2000+ employees during the appreciation week.
